May 12. Vladimir Putin makes proposals to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev about the Cabinet's structure and lineup. Incoming PM Vladimir Putin presented proposals to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev about the new government's structure in the Kremlin Monday. "As we agreed, the necessary documents were compiled that relate to the government's structure and appointments to the positions of vice PMs and federal ministers" – Putin said at a meeting with Medvedev. "I request you to consider and, if necessary, to skim through the list together, taking into account there are some new persons on it" – Putin said. Medvedev in turn noted that "we had enough time to iron out the Cabinet's structure and work on personal appointments. Over the past two months we have worked shoulder to shoulder addressing these issues". "We'll review them once again and take all necessary decisions" – Medvedev said.
