May 12. Alekperov raises his stake in Lukoil from 16.9% to 20.4%.
As of May 12, 2008 Lukoil CEO Vagit Alekperov directly and indirectly owned 20.4% of the oil producer's securities, Lukoil said in a statement. According to the oil company's data, Alekperov owns 173,511,334 shares of Lukoil. As of April 16, 2007 he held directly and indirectly a 16.899% interest in Lukoil.
