May 22. Wimm-Bill-Dann's BoD has recommended that shareholders refrain from dividend payouts for FY 2007, the company said in a press release. "No dividend payouts are foreseen", the company reported. Since its establishment in 1993 WBD paid dividends only once – in 2006. "We have never adopted a decision on dividend payouts to shareholders, with the only exception in 2006, which turned out to be extremely successful for the company. In 2008 we think it is much more important to invest in the holding's development", the company's board member Marina Kagan said. WBD's AGM is slated for June 28, 2008. The company's FY 2007 RAS net profit reached RUB 977.5 mn. Part of this amount, RUB 9.9 mn, is to be allocated to reserves and the remaining RUB 967.6 mn is to be retained.
