June 19. In 2009 Rostelecom intends to lift capex by 11.5% to RUB 8.7 bn, the LD operator said in a statement. Rostelecom’s 2008 capex came to RUB 7.8 bn, rising 9.6% y-o-y. Funds will be earmarked to upgrade and expand its network, and also to roll out technical and IT infrastructure for innovative services.
