June 22. MMK’s subsidiary has sued Oleg Deripaska’s developer Glavmosstroy for bankruptcy, according to materials of the Moscow Arbitration Court. Two days ago a similar lawsuit against Glavmosstroy was filed by Strom Holding, earlier affiliated with Deripaska’s business entities. MMK Moscow Trading House, earlier known as Magma Trade, is MMK’s official dealer and sells metal products in small wholesale consignments via an in-house distribution network. In 2008, MMK Moscow Trading House lodged three claims against Glavmosstroy due to failure to perform supplies for a total of RUB 115.8 mn.
