Feb 9. A delay in putting on stream the Shtokman field should not impact the schedule of the Nord Stream project. The schedule of the Nord Stream gas pipeline will not be impacted by a delay in implementation of the Shtokman project, which is a source of gas supplies for the future gas pipeline, Reuters reported quoting a spokesperson of Nord Stream, the gas pipeline operator. “Nord Stream does not depend on the date of commissioning the Shtokman field and the current project schedule which calls for launching the first line in 2011 and the second in 2012 still remains in place”, the press release says.
